The Charlatans have confirmed four live dates and their own festival in their hometown, Northwich.
The band will perform at Northwich Memorial Court on May 14, 16, 17 and 18, playing completely different sets on the latter two shows with only the closing song, Sproston Green, repeating at both.
The shows will form part of the band's festival spread over ten days, featuring a Charlatans memorabilia exhibition, a week of live bands at The Salty Dog pub, film screenings and podcasts, Craig Parkinson will be hosting The Two Shot Podcast featuring Paddy Considine, a Vinyl Adventures record fair and more. Speaking about the event, the band said:
"We're really excited about our four shows in Northwich. We rehearsed at the Memorial Court for our last tour and we all pretty much said at the same time that we had to play there. As with most Charlatans events, we thought of lots of stuff we could do around the gigs - so we called some friends, found a space for an exhibition, borrowed a 1930s cinema and the results ended up pretty mind blowing. See you in Northwich in May?"
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 3 through Dice.
The Charlatans Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Mon May 14 2018 - NORTHWICH Memorial Court
Wed May 16 2018 - NORTHWICH Memorial Court
Thu May 17 2018 - NORTHWICH Memorial Court
