Kris Barras Band will join Beth Hart on her upcoming spring tour.
They will play as an acoustic trio on all dates except shows at Vicar Street in Dublin and the Royal Albert Hall in London, with the tour commencing in Ipswich on April 12 and culminating in Portsmouth on May 1. Talking about the shows, the former MMA fighter said:
"I'm really excited to be joining Beth Hart on her UK tour. She’s such a fantastic artist, it’s a real honour to be on the same bill. It’s going to be a bit different to what I usually do, as I’ll be performing an acoustic trio set each night. There’s some amazing venues on this tour and I can’t wait to get out there!"
The tour will follow Barras and band's own headline run supporting the release of their new album, 'The Divine And Dirty, which arrives on March 23 through Provogue/Mascot Label. The band also appear at HRH Blues at the O2 Academy Sheffield, the Abertillery Blues Rock Festival, LoveRocks Festival and Ramblin' Man Fair.
Hart, meanwhile, recently announced a new live record, 'Live From New York - Front And Center', which was recorded at her intimate concert at New York City's Iridium Jazz Club in March last year. The album arrives as a CD/DVD package on April 13 via Provogue Records/Mascot Label Group.
