Fenne Lily Releases On Hold Video

Wednesday, 14 March 2018 Written by Huw Baines

Fenne Lily has released a video for the title track of her new LP.

'On Hold' will arrive on April 6 and is set to be accompanied by a European tour. Check out the video, directed by the artist, below.

"On Hold was written as a  thank you for the warmth of the world when I was at my lowest and I wanted the video that accompanied it to be a raw representation of this gratitude,” she said. “Being nice is underrated. There's no doubt the wider UK urban music scene is currently enjoying exposure on a level never seen before (Stormzy just won a couple of Brits and called out the Prime Minister on live TV, winning the support of another political leader in the space of 24 hours). But, while much of the mainstream attention has been afforded to the burgeoning grime scene, UK hip hop is enjoying a mini-renaissance of its own.

Fischerspooner - Sir (Album Review)
Mon 19 Feb 2018
Photo: Rinalto Sata As one of the key progenitors of electroclash, New York’s Fischerspooner have always embodied a particular form of smashy, digital camp. While the songwriting on their fourth album, 'Sir' lacks hooks, it is a record of intense, virile creativity that develops their sound a full nine years after the release of their previous album, ‘Entertainment’.
