Courtney Barnett Shares Video For New Single Need A Little Time

Courtney Barnett has shared a video for her new single.
Need A Little Time is taken from her forthcoming sophomore LP, 'Tell Me How You Really Feel', which is due to arrive on May 18 and will follow up ‘Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit’.
Speaking about the track's video, director Danny Cohen said:
"Need A Little Time has this soaring, floating feeling to it. I decided to play on the meaning of the song, Courtney needs some time away from herself (and you). I didn’t want to show Courtney leaving her friends/family/fans etc, it needed to be more metaphorical. Courtney floats through space and time, ends up in some isolated part of the universe. She finally has found some time alone, just Courtney and her guitar, singing in space without a care in the world."
Barnett will tour extensively to support the record, with dates lined up in North America, the UK and Europe in the coming months.
In addition to her headline dates, the Australian singer-songwriter will perform in Belfast at the BBC’s Biggest Weekend event on May 25, and will join Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Patti Smith and St. Vincent at Victoria Park, London on June 3 for an All Points East show.
