Death Cab For Cutie Announce New Album 'Thank You for Today', Share First Single Gold Rush

Death Cab For Cutie will release a new album this summer.
'Thank You For Today', the follow up to 2015's 'Kintsugi', is due out on August 17 through Atlantic Records. It is the first record to see Ben Gibbard, Nick Harmer and Jason McGerr joined in the studio by Dave Depper and Zac Rae, who have been members of their touring band since 2015.

The band will return to the UK next week for two London shows, the first at Royal Festival Hall as part of Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival on June 18 and the second the following day at Scala. They have also lined up a North American tour, which will kick off on August 2 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
