Wednesday, 13 June 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

The Bronx have been announced as special guests on this year's Fireball: Fuelling The Fire UK tour.

The Los Angeles band will join previously announced headliners Flogging Molly, plus Face To Face and Lost In Stereo. Speaking about the tour, the Bronx frontman Matt Caughthran said:

"We are so stoked to be a part of the 2018 Fireball: Fuelling the Fire Tour with Flogging Molly, Face To Face, and Lost In Stereo! We played it with Mariachi el Bronx back in 2016 and had a fucking blast, but now it’s time for some proper Bronx Carnage. These shows will be our last of the year so you can guarantee we are gonna give 'em everything we got! Get the fireball ready…"

The bands will head to London, where they will play two nights at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Oxford and Bournemouth between December 2 and 14. Tickets are on sale now.

There Is Fun Stuff and Cool Stuff and There Can Be Resistance: Martha Talk 'Love Keeps Kicking'
Tue 02 Apr 2019
One of life’s dirtiest tricks is the way it slowly erodes the time we have to do the things we love. In response we have nights spent on either side of a low stage, sweat flying and words being wrenched from hoarse throats. “When we’re on tour and playing shows I’m like: ‘This is me’. And then I quickly get back into normal, boring work,” Martha bassist Naomi Griffin says.
Martha - Love Keeps Kicking (Album Review)
Wed 10 Apr 2019
Martha’s approach to pop music falls somewhere between kitchen sink realism and wild escapism. Over the course of two LPs and a slew of excellent singles the indie-punk quartet, who hail from Pity Me, close to Durham in the northeast of England, have cemented a reputation as a melodically savvy, socially conscious band capable of telling us the truth and then helping us to forget about it.
PUP - Morbid Stuff (Album Review)

American Football - American Football (Album Review)
Fri 22 Mar 2019
After releasing their self-titled debut album in 1999, and promptly splitting up, American Football became a cultural touchstone. They were synonymous with the intelligent side of emo, having created a template that would be imitated throughout the new millennium: complex, intertwining guitar parts, unconventional rhythms, and melodramatic lyrics that chronicled heartbreak and uncertainty with a sort of smug collegiate literariness.
