Urne To Release Debut EP 'The Mountain Of Gold' In July

Tuesday, 26 June 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Urne have announced the release of their debut EP.

The band, comprising former Hang The Bastard members Joe Nally and Angus Neyra with drummer Richard Wiltshire, will release 'The Mountain of Gold' on July 27.

Produced by Josh Middleton of Architects and engineered by Craig Reynolds of Stray From The Path, the EP's first single is called Dust Atlas. Discussing the track, singer and bassist Nally said:

"Dust Atlas was the first track written for our upcoming EP ‘The Mountain Of Gold’ and also the opener to that EP. We feel this song captures a lot of different elements of what Urne is about. We’ve always been passionate about heavy metal but also so many other genres and influences, we feel these are prominent on this track and throughout the EP. We’re really pleased to be getting our music out and playing this material in a live environment."
