EMP!RE Announce London Show, Unveil Sour Tastes Video

EMP!RE will play Thousand Island in London on September 19.
The show will see the rock quintet celebrating the release of their debut album, 'Glue', which is due to arrive on September 7 via Silent Cult. Watch a video for the track, Sour Tastes, below.
"We wanted to do something really different for this video," said guitarist James L'Esteve. "We sat with our director Carl Shanahan and put this together. It is completely shot in one take, there was lots of running and choreography going on. There are no edit points whatsoever so it was fun to shoot, but it had to be right from start to finish! What you don't see is what happens when the camera pans is that the people in masks need to get from one end to the other in Usain Bolt levels of speed!
"We felt the video represented a personal struggle. It's about fighting through your problems (metaphorically of course!) and making it out through the other side in better shape and more cleansed! Just the idea of facing things head on and not running around the problem.
It takes inspiration from a well known TV show - I will let you work out the reference!"
