Bring Me The Horizon Return With New Track Mantra

Wednesday, 22 August 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

Bring Me The Horizon are back with a new track.

Mantra is the first new material to emerge from the band since the release of their fifth album, 'That's The Spirit', in September 2015 and is thought to be the first taste of its follow up.

The song kicks off with the memorable line "Do you wanna start a cult with me?", a slogan sure to be emblazoned across tshirts very soon. Frontman Oli Sykes' melodic vocals coming to the fore more so than his previously predominant hardcore screams.

The occasional gravelly tone, though, serves as a reminder of his heavier beginnings. The distorted guitars continue to sound as huge as ever and paired with keys and synths makes for a stadium sized return from the Yorkshire natives.

UPDATE: The band have announced a new album and UK and European tours. Head here for details.
