Sabaton To Headline Friday Night At Bloodstock 2019

Tuesday, 18 September 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

The first headliner has been announced for next year's Bloodstock.

The UK’s biggest independent metal festival will be attended by 15,000 people next summer, with Sabaton set to top the bill. The event is spread across three stages - Ronnie James Dio, Sophie Lancaster and Hobgoblin New Blood - while Last year's headliners were Judas Priest, Nightwish and Gojira.

What? A four day festival that hosts some of the heaviest acts the rock and metal scene has to offer.

Where? Catton Park at Walton on Trent in Derbyshire.

When? August 8-11.

Who? Swedish power-metallers Sabaton will headline the Friday night, August 9. It will be their only UK show of 2019 and doubtless filled to the brim with explosions, tanks and the like. Head here to read our feature about the band and the rise of power metal.

Tickets? Early bird weekend tickets are on sale now, priced from £125 plus fees.
