Weakened Friends have shared their latest single, Peel.

The track is the second to be shared from the Portland, Maine indie-rock trio's upcoming debut full length, 'Common Blah', which comes out on October 19 through Don Giovanni. Discussing the song, vocalist Sonia Sturino said:

"The lyrics of peel are pretty self explanatory, especially to anyone who’s ever suffered from panic attacks or anxiety attacks. The feeling like you’re drowning or just stuck in this awful place inside your own head that you can’t break out of regardless of how hard you try. The feeling of ruining a good moment and having it totally be out of your own control. That being said peel is probably the fuzziest and loudest track on the record which makes it super fun to play, so it’s a nice reward to have a song like this to go to even if it’s subject matter stems out of the worst feelings I have."

Previous shared songs from the album include last month's Blue Again single and Hate Mail featuring Dinosaur Jr.’s own J Mascis, which was released at the end of 2017.

The band will tour the US and Europe throughout the autumn, including an appearance at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris before UK shows at the Hope and Ruin in Brighton on October 31 and the Old Blue Last in London on November 2.

Weakened Friends Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Wed October 31 2018 - BRIGHTON Hope & Ruin
Fri November 02 2018 - LONDON Old Blue Last
