Scorpions Confirmed To Headline Bloodstock 2019

Tuesday, 09 October 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

Bloodstock will return in 2019 for another bout of metal and mayhem.

The UK’s biggest independent metal festival will be attended by 15,000 people next summer, with Sabaton set to top the bill on the Friday night, marking their only UK show of the year, and Scorpions set to draw things to a close on Sunday. They intend to rock you like a hurricane, naturally.

The event is spread across three stages - Ronnie James Dio (main stage), Sophie Lancaster and Hobgoblin New Blood - while last year's headliners were Judas Priest, Nightwish and Gojira.

What? A four day festival that hosts some of the heaviest acts the rock and metal scene has to offer.

Where? Catton Park at Walton on Trent in Derbyshire.

When? August 8-11.

Who? Alongside Scorpions, the newest name added to the bill, and Sabaton, the fest will host Children Of Bodom, Cradle Of Filth, Queensryche, Soilwork, Dee Snider and Hypocrisy.

Tickets? Early bird weekend tickets are on sale now, priced from £132 plus fees.

Bloodstock Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Thu August 08 2019 - DERBYSHIRE Catton Park
