Dermot Kennedy Announces Spring UK Tour, Shares New Single Power Over Me

Dermot Kennedy has lined up a UK tour in May.
The Irish singer-songwriter will call in Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London, where he'll tackle the O2 Academy Brixton. Tickets for the shows go on general sale at 10am on October 19.
To celebrate the news, the young Dubliner has shared a darkly anthemic new single, Power Over Me, which was co-written with Scott Harris and Toronto-based producer Koz, who's worked with Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Dua Lipa, and Meek Mill. Discussing it, Kennedy said:
"The whole song started with just that one idea, that sole lyric of 'you've got that power over me'. The idea of being totally bewitched by somebody, to be totally under their spell, in a really good way. Just totally enamoured."
The track arrives as Kennedy prepares for the first of two dates at the London's Electric Brixton tonight. The shows are part of his Keep the Evenings Long world tour, which heads to North America later this month.
