Mineral have returned with their first new song in two decades and details of a London show as part of a world tour.
The legendary emo group have reconvened to release One Day We Were Young, a book of photos, interviews and lyrics that will celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2019. Along with that we’ve got a 10” featuring two tracks: Aurora and Your Body is the World. The whole thing is out on January 4.
The former recently premiered over at NPR and you can stream it below. It’s a sweeping, open-ended piece that effortlessly evokes the ebb and flow of the band’s glory days. Chris Simpson’s vocal performance, in particular, will bring a lot of things flooding back for long-time fans.
In May, meanwhile, the band will land at the Dome in Tufnell Park for a one off UK date. Tickets are on sale at 9am on November 9.
