Vic Mensa Announces 'Hooligans' EP, Shares Video For First Single Dark Things

Thursday, 22 November 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

Vic Mensa has shared a new track, Dark Things.

It's the first single to be lifted from his new EP, 'Hooligans', and was produced by Stefan Ponce. The record is set to arrive on December 14 and follow up his 2017 LP 'The Autobiography', while Mensa has also revealed that he's collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign for its next single.

Head below to check out the song's horror-themed video, which mirrors its dark subject matter. Shrouded with an autotune melody over 808 snaps, Mensa discusses self-loathing and insecurity, asking: "27 club how can I get in?"

Mensa premiered the track on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show and gave some insight into what could be expected from 'Hooligans' and the inspiration behind it. He also divulged who he had been collaborating with on the new material. Listen below.
