Candlemass Share New Track The Omega Circle From Upcoming Album 'The Door To Doom'

Wednesday, 19 December 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Candlemass have shared a new song from their upcoming 12th LP 'The Door To Doom'.

The Omega Circle is the first Candlemass song in over 30 years to feature returning original vocalist Johan Längquist, who left the doom pioneers after singing on their landmark 1986 debut album, 'Epicus Doomicus Metallicus'. Check out the new track, which features some mammoth riffing, below alongside the album's artwork and tracklist.

'The Door to Doom' is out on February 22 via Napalm Records and also features House of Doom, which arrived as part of an EP back in May. There's also a guest guitar solo from Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi on the track Astorolus - The Great Octopus.

Candlemass will provide support on the European leg of Ghost's A Pale Tour Named Death which continues on February 3 in Lyon, France before heading to the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Norway and the two band's native Sweden, where they'll play Gothenburg's Scandinavium and Stockholm's Ericsson Globe.

2. Under The Ocean
