SWMRS Tease 'Berkeley's On Fire' With New Track Trashbag Baby

SWMRS have shared another track from their upcoming second LP, 'Berkeley's On Fire'.
Trashbag Baby follows the California rock quartet's 2018 single April In Houston and sees co-frontmen Cole and Max Becker sharing lead vocal duties. The video, meanwhile, features Bay Area skater Cher Strauberry.
"When we were writing these songs we were very conscious of our role in creating a space for people to escape from the nonstop negative media cycle," said Cole. "It’s a strange time to be young; our generation knows the duality of feeling like an unstoppable force for change in one moment and a powerless wreck in the next. We wanted these songs to document that feeling that we’ve observed closely in ourselves and in the people we’ve shared our music with over the past three years."
Following the track's premiere on BBC Radio 1 as Annie Mac's Hottest Record last night, Mac revealed that SWMRS will perform live on BBC Radio 1 from London's iconic Maide Vale Studios on January 16. Tune in at 8:00pm to hear the performance.
The band will release the Rich Costey-produced 'Berkeley's On Fire' on February 15 via Fueled By Ramen, with UK and European dates set to follow in the spring.
