Blaenavon Plot Spring UK And Ireland Tour, Share New Single Catatonic Skinbag

Blaenavon have announced a spring UK and Ireland tour.
The Hampshire-based band will call in Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool, Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Oxford, Cardiff, Plymouth, Southampton, Brighton and Tunbrige Wells between May 1 and 18. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on January 25.
Alongside the show announcement, the trio have also shared a new single, Catatonic Skinbag. It's the first to be lifted from their upcoming sophomore album, 'Everything That Makes You Happy'. Singer Ben Gregory said:
"The song is about isolation. Cutting oneself off from the world to engage in fruitless sensual pleasures and pretending everything is ok. Watching fucking Netflix and drinking a bottle of wine when you should probably instead be in therapy. But there's a way out. Art, friendship, love. You don’t have to be a catatonic skinbag. Lol."
Blaenavon will play a last minute London show at Omeara on January 23, following which they will immediately head out on a UK tour supporting the Wombats.
