C Duncan To Support Third Album 'Health' With Spring Tour

C Duncan, aka Chris Duncan, will tour the UK in the spring.
The Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has lined up 12 shows during April and May, including a London date at Scala and an appearance at Leicester's Handmade festival. Tickets are on general sale at 9am on February 1, with prices starting at £12.50 plus fees.
The dates will follow the release of his third LP, 'Health', which is out on March 29 via Fat Cat Records. The follow up to 2015's Mercury Prize-nominated 'Architect' and 2016's 'The Midnight Sun' was produced by Elbow's Craig Potter and finds Duncan ditching his bedroom studio for the first time to record with other engineers and musicians.
"This was the biggest shift in dynamic for me. Having always worked alone, it was a daunting prospect but one I knew I had to explore.
With album three, I wanted to take a more direct approach, adding even more layers but thematically and lyrically laid bare. Having someone else to bounce production ideas off was really eye-opening for me. In the past, I had been very controlling about how everything would sound but 'Health' really showed me the benefit of working with others and made the whole process much less isolating."
