Grand Magus To Return With Ninth Album 'Wolf God' In Spring

Friday, 08 February 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Grand Magus have announced their new album, 'Wolf God'.

A little over two years since the release of 'Sword Songs', the Swedish rifflords have confirmed they'll drop LP number nine on April 19 via Nuclear Blast. It was recorded at Sweetspot Studio in Halmstad accompanied by producer Staffan Karlsson, with the majority of the songs captured on the first take. Upon revealing the news, the trio said:

"For the third time, the magic skill and imagination of Anthony Roberts has given birth to the cover artwork for a Grand Magus album. This time the forest, the moon and obviously the wolf take center stage. Not just any wolf though… beware his fury. This is the WOLF GOD!"

Grand Magus will appear at Bloodstock Festival in Derby this summer. Tickets are on sale now.
