Sara Bareilles Announces New Album 'Amidst The Chaos', Reveals First Single Fire

Sara Bareilles has announced a new album.
The award winning singer, songwriter, actress, and author’s fifth studio album, ‘Amidst The Chaos’, is set for release on April 5, and will be her first record of original music since 2013.
Fire, the LP’s first cut, continues the singer’s penchant for storytelling, with a verse accepting the end of a relationship. She sings, “Won't lose much sleep, he never went that deep. Love you? Oh you sweet thing, no I never said that”, on top of vocal harmonies and a radio friendly melody in the chorus.
Last year, Bareilles received an Emmy Award and Grammy nomination for her role in Jesus Christ Superstar, and in 2017 won various awards for her score and lead role in the musical Waitress on Broadway.
