Heart Of A Coward have announced live dates for June and details of their fourth studio album, 'The Disconnect'.
Led by two bruising singles Drown In Ruin and Collapse, the follow up to 2015's 'Deliverence' is set to arrive on June 7 via Arising Empire Records. It marks the British metal band's first full-length with frontman Kaan Tasan — who joined the band at the end of 2017 — and finds the quintet once again working with engineers Justin Hill and Will Putney.
Discussing the writing process, which initially started in early 2017, guitarist Steve Haycock said:
"'The Disconnect' was not an easy process to start after such a long pause, but once the gears were oiled, everything proceeded as usual. Kaan was involved in the writing process during which he provided us with new elements to focus on."
Tasan added:
"It was one of the most stimulating and rewarding writing processes I've ever had to deal with. Some tracks have just clicked and gone, while others have really stimulated us in a creative way. It was important for us to get the best from each other and we really got along."
Heart of a Coward will accompany the release with UK shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Norwich, London, and Brighton, joined by special guests Any Given Day And Lock And Key. They also appear at Download festival on June 16.
Tickets for the Norwich and Brighton dates are available now, while all other shows are on sale at 12pm on April 3, priced from £12 (£15 for London) plus fees.
