The St Pierre Snake Invasion Line Up Summer Release For New LP 'Caprice Enchanté', Share Lead Single

The St. Pierre Snake Invasion will return with their second album this summer.
Led by the fiery, high energy lead single Casanovacaine, a near two-and-a-half minutes of breakneck punk riffs, the Bristol band will put out 'Caprice Enchanté' on June 21.
They've scheduled a hometown album release show at the Fleece for the same day, which they'll follow with appearances at 2000trees in July and ArcTanGent in August. They also take over the Black Heart in Camden, London next month.
The album was recorded at Rockfield studios in January 2017 with Sean Genockey. Speaking about the writing process, vocalist Damien Sayell said:
"The album was written over the course of 2-3 years and began with the intention of being a critique of my romanticisation of music, and how felt to be an ageing musician who hadn't achieved the bedroom aspirations of my teenage years. As the writing progressed the theme gradually became more about ego, self-entitlement, defeatism and identity, or more so a sense of a losing your identity."
