Schedule Announced For Focus Wales 2019

Tuesday, 09 April 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

Focus Wales is nearly upon us.

This May the multi-venue festival will return for its ninth year to Wrexham in North Wales to host 200 bands across 20 stages, including Neck Deep, Skindred, Cate Le Bon, Kero Kero Bonito, Boy Azooga, BC Camplight, Campfire Social, HMS Morris, Colorama, Snapped Ankles, and Peaness, to name a few.

The line up is as electic as ever and there truly is something for everyone. The event is an important spot on the calendar for new bands, and a growing international contingent, with lots to look forward to in 2019. Focus Wales is also the country's biggest music industry event, with three days of panels, conferences and keynote talks from industry delegates, including the likes of Ruud Berens of Eurosonic, Huw Stephens, and Neck Deep front man Ben Barlow.

We’re pleased to share the schedule for the festival and help kick off your plans for finding new music, your next favourite band and also enjoying plenty of esteemed acts. Click on the poster below or head here to view/contemplate/print/download your planner, and begin timetabling that fun!

We're not just hosting the schedule, though, oh no! Stereoboard is sponsoring the second stage at Memorial Hall on May 17 and 18.

Both days boast a diverse bill, with the first show including Cardiff indie outfit Boy Azooga, alongside Canadian indie-popsters Tallies, the post-punk and pop-influenced MNNQNS from France, and more.

The second, meanwhile, will be topped by alt-pop favourites Kero Kero Bonito, who'll be joined by Welsh electronic dance artist Rachel K Collier, and Canada's Graham Van Pelt, among many others.

Tickets are on sale now. A limited number of day passes priced at £26 have been released. Head here to get yours.
