Of Monsters And Men Announce New Album 'Fever Dream', Share First Single Alligator

Wednesday, 08 May 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Of Monsters And Men have announced a new album.

‘Fever Dream’ is due for release on July 26 through Republic Records, following up ‘Beneath The Skin’, which arrived in 2015.

The Icelandic quintet, whose smash hit single Little Talks came in 2011, have also shared the record’s first cut Alligator, which sees co-vocalist Nanna Bryndis Hilmarsdóttir taking the lead for the first time, as well as adopting song writing duties. It’s a catchy pop track full of stomping drums, grumbling guitars getting ready to be unleashed, and a huge chorus that’s already primed for singalongs.

Of the new material, the band noted:

"We are so excited about Alligator, the first release from our upcoming album. The song very much speaks to the excitement and energy that we feel about being back. We can’t wait to share more music and see everyone again.”

Check out the gooey, psychedelic video for Alligator below.
