Flying Lotus Announces 'Flamagra' North American Tour And Shares Anderson .Paak Collaboration More

Thursday, 09 May 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Flying Lotus has announced a summer tour to take place this August.

The Los Angeles producer, musician, DJ and rapper will hit the road behind his sixth studio album, 'Flamagra', which is scheduled to arrive via Warp Records on May 24, five years after the release of its predecessor 'You're Dead'.

Stops include shows in major cities including New York, Houston, and New Orleans, wrapping up with a hometown show on September 20. Head below for a full list of dates. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 17.

Additionally, FlyLo has shared another song from the 27-track album, More, a collaboration with Anderson .Paak. The psychedelic groove follows the previously released cuts Spontaneous featuring Little Dragon, Takashi, and Fire Is Coming, a song with David Lynch, who also appears in the accompanying video.

The album also boasts contributions from Solange, Tierra Whack, Toro Y Moi, Thundercat, George Clinton, and Shabazz Palaces.

The Chemical Brothers - No Geography (Album Review)
Tue 16 Apr 2019
In the 1990s—along with Fatboy Slim and the Prodigy—the Chemical Brothers popularised a particular brand of big beat electronica that ran adjacent to, and sometimes intertwined with, the pompously termed Intelligent Dance Music movement. Their ninth studio album, ‘No Geography’ boldly revisits this sound, updating it thematically while combining many of the compositional elements brilliantly. The result is probably their best album since 2002’s ‘Come With Us’.
