Whenyoung Confirm Reasons To Dream UK Tour For Autumn

Tuesday, 21 May 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Whenyoung have lined up autumn dates for their biggest ever headline tour.

The announcement comes as the London-via-Dublin newcomers prepare to release their debut album, 'Reasons To Dream', on May 24. Stops include Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds, Southampton, Bristol, and London, where they'll take over Scala on October 8.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 24. In the meantime, head below to view the video accompanying the trio's latest single, The Others, an infectious slice of indie-pop written during the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire. Guitarist Niall Burns said:

"At this time Aoife [Power - bass/vocals] was working as a gardener for well off clients in the area. The juxtaposition between these safe, affluent homes and the burning tower block streets away were startling and upsetting. Living in safety should not be a luxury."
