Liam Gallagher will play an intimate London show next week.

The former Oasis vocalist will perform at Hackney Round Chapel on June 5, with tickets for the show on sale now, priced from £33 including fees.

The performance will take place two days before the release of the Manchester legend's new song, Shockwave, the lead single of his second solo album and follow up to 2017's 'As You Were'. Head below for a teaser clip.

The track was written with his ‘As You Were’ collaborators, Andrew Wyatt, who won the Academy Award for Best Original Song as co-writer of Shallow from the film A Star Is Born, and Grammy Award-winner Greg Kurstin, who also produced the song.

Gallagher also recently teased the name of his forthcoming record on social media, writing on Twitter: "WHY ME? WHY NOT?". When fans began speculating what the cryptic tweet could possibly mean, the Paper Crown singer replied "we have a winner" to one fan who guessed it was the name of the new album.

The record is expected to arrive later this year following Gallagher's upcoming documentary film As It Was, which hits cinemas on June 7. Head here for details of screenings and tickets.

Additionally, Gallagher has some huge shows lined up for the summer. He'll play Cork's Irish Independent Park and the Eden Project in Cornwall ahead of his performance at Glastonbury.
