Kesha has returned with a new single, Rich, White, Straight, Men.
The politically-charged protest anthem showcases an entirely different style to anything the singer has put out before, unfolding over a vaudeville-inspired melody — that later invokes the lullaby Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star — while Kesha sings about her wish for things to be different. "What if rich, white, straight men didn’t rule the world anymore?"
The song was released to YouTube as a surprise for fans and marks Kesha's first new music of 2019. Her last album, 'Rainbow', arrived in 2017.
