Organisers Announce Cancellation Of Glasgow Festival Electric Fields

Tuesday, 04 June 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

Glasgow's Electric Fields has been cancelled.

The festival was due to take place between July 4 and 6 at its new home of SWG3, having previously been held in the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle in Thornhill, Scotland.

The three-day event's sixth edition was due to play host to headliners Metronomy, the Vaccines and Frank Turner, but organisers have said they've "been faced with challenges that we simply cannot overcome." Head below for the full statement.
