Spector Announce Autumn Tour And Share New Single I Won't Wait

Spector are back with a new single, I Won't Wait.
The swaggering new song features the band's characteristically witty lyricism and marks the London indie quintet's first material of 2019. It follows the release of their 'Reloaded' EP late last year and their last album, 2015's 'Moth Boys'. Of the track, frontman Fred Macpherson said:
"I Won’t Wait is about patience being pushed to its limits, and the mental and emotional gymnastics we use to stay friends (or lovers) with people as we see all our own worst traits reflected back in them. It's all the thoughts you have when you’re mindlessly staring at your phone in bed at night when you should have been asleep an hour ago - the things you never say that you’ve forgotten by the morning."
Alongside the new song, the band have shared news of an autumn UK tour, including a performance at the Oval Space in the heart of Bethnal Green on November 13. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on June 7.
In the meantime, Spector play London's Sebright Arms tonight and appear at Truck Festival in Oxfordshire in July.
