The Futureheads will release the follow up to 2012's 'Rant' this summer.
'Powers', which will arrive on August 30, was recorded and self-produced at First Avenue Studio in Newcastle. Vocalist and guitarist Barry Hyde said:
“There's power and sophistication and simplicity, and it's bloody hard to play, which I think will keep the shows interesting because we're on the edge of our abilities with this. It's musical audacity: that's what this album's about.”
Head below to check out the previously shared opening track Jekyll, along with the record's artwork and tracklist.
Prior to the album's arrival the band have a busy summer of festival appearances inked in the diary, including sets at Latitude, Tramlines, Truck, and Victorious.
