Temples Announce 'Hot Motion' LP And Accompanying UK And European Tour

Temples have announced their third full-length, 'Hot Motion'.
The follow up to 2017's 'Volcano' marks the now-trio's debut for ATO Records, with whom they've recently signed, with a release date set for September 27.
To celebrate the news, the Kettering-born band have shared a live performance video for the record's stomping title track, which brings together fuzzy guitars and effervescent harmonies for a psychedelic sound covering "the tensions of desire, dreams and nightmares." Bassist Thomas Walmsley commented:
"It felt like there was a darker edge to what we were coming up with and we wanted to make sure that carried through across the whole record. It's not a 10-track, relentless rock record from start to finish, it's got a lot of light and shade and more tender moments, but that heavier, darker sound for us is something we wanted to make sure was in there and explore further."
Fresh from their set at this year's All Points East Festival in London, the band have also announced that they'll accompany the album's release with UK and European shows in November and December. They also play various festival sets over the summer, as well as touring the US in the autumn.
