VANT Announces October UK Tour And New Album 'Conceived In The Sky'

VANT has lined up a UK tour for the autumn.
The dates take place in October, beginning in Edinbrugh at the Mash House before finishing up in London at the Garage. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on June 21.
Earlier this year, Mattie Vant released the single Thank Lucifer, ending a year-long hiatus and introducing his new musical direction.
Having spent most of 2018 in the studio experimenting with various instruments and software, Vant's second album 'Conceived In The Sky' will be released on his own imprint Dumb Blood Records, although an official launch date is yet to be confirmed.
"This was always going to be a transitional record for me. Returning to being a solo artist, exploring different genres, essentially completely reinventing my- self, all as a newly independent artist.
"Some of my favourite records are those that 'join the dots'. You can see where an artist is going but they are still discovering themselves and playing with new ideas, without the weight of expectation.
"There is something beautiful and exciting about stretching out into the unknown and it’s only when you finally reach that solid ground that you can look back and see how far you’ve come."
