Thursday, 19 September 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Fredo and Slowthai have been confirmed for a new event celebrating the best of British alternative music.

The rappers will perform at the Depot in Manchester on December 7 as part of the rap, grime and hip hop event run by the Warehouse Project and Highsnobiety Soundsystem.

They will be joined on the bill by Mike Skinner of the Streets — for a DJ set, Casisdead, Flohio, Kojey Radical, Children of Zeus, Bakar, Tiffany Calver, an AV set from Murlo, Places + Faces Presents + Sounds, P.Rallel, Bad Girls, Hannah Fairth, Jossy Mitsu, Teki Latex, Con M1, Yung Omz and Rich Reason.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on September 20, priced from £20 plus fees.

The Warehouse Project co-founder Sam Kandel said:

"We partnered with Highsnobiety on this show as they are a brand that speaks directly to this current generation of aspirational, creative young people around the world. Our programming for this event celebrates a crop of groundbreaking British acts that give the young people of the country something they can be truly proud of, promoting messages of unapologetic self-determination."

The Warehouse Project also has extensive plans throughout autumn, with performances lined up from Aphex Twin, Disclosure, Chase And Status, Hacienda Classical, Camelphat, Four Tet, Skrillex, Skepta, Underworld, Fatboy Slim and more. Find all the upcoming shows listed below and here.
