Boy Azooga Share Video For New Single O Silly Me

Wednesday, 13 November 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

Boy Azooga have released a new single.

O Silly Me is the first new material to emerge from the band since the release of their Welsh Music Prize-winning debut album, '1,2 Kung Fu!', in 2018. It's backed with a cover of Jim Sullivan's song U.F.O.

Discussing the indie-folk, guitar-led ode to worriers, band leader Davey Newington said:

"O Silly Me is a song about worry: written when worried that might hopefully ease some worry for other worriers. Hope you enjoy it (no worries if not).  And I was introduced to Jim Sullivan’s U.F.O last year by Tom Friend in Friendly Records. It has become one of my favourite ever albums since. Hope we did it some justice! Would like to dedicate this version to Pete, safe voyage on your U.F.O."

Boy Azooga will support Liam Gallagher at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena and London's O2 Arena at the end of November. They've also got a couple of international festivals booked before the end of the year, but will finish up with a headline Christmas party at YES in Manchester on December 14.

Boy Azooga Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat December 14 2019 - MANCHESTER YES
