The Doobie Brothers To Reunite With Michael McDonald For North American 50th Anniversary Tour

The Doobie Brothers are set to reunite with former frontman Michael McDonald for their first tour together in nearly 25 years.
The band will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their formation with a 30-date North American trek, running from June to October 2020. Head below for a full list of dates, with tickets for the shows on general sale at 10am on December 6. Guitarist Tom Johnston said:
"We're truly excited about our 50th Anniversary Tour, as it's a celebration of the band’s entire history. We'll be performing songs from our full catalog, as well as new music."
Johnston, Patrick Simmons and John McFee teased the news during their recent show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, welcoming McDonald onto the stage for a surprise encore performance of Takin’ It To the Streets from their first album.
