The White Buffalo has announced his signing to Snakefarm Records as well as UK and European tour dates.

The Oregon-born musician and singer-songwriter, real name Jake Smith, will call in Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol, Manchester, and London, where he'll play the Kentish Town O2 Forum on April 23. His plans also include stops in Italy and the Netherlands.

Smith's most recent full-length, 'Darkest Darks, Lightest Lights', arrived in 2017. Discussing his new deal with Snakefarm, Smith said:

"I've signed a worldwide deal with Snakefarm Records/Universal Music Group. Snakefarm/UMG shares my passion and vision for honest, heartfelt, authentic music and I’m looking forward to working with them. On that note, we're hitting the road this spring with a 10-date European tour!"

Snakefarm Records Head of A&R, Dante Bonutto added:

"We’re delighted to welcome Jake Smith to the Snakefarm roster at a time when there’s a serious revival of interest in the authentic and the real. Jake's music as The White Buffalo is based on genuine emotion and original thought; he’s a true artist, a teller of stories with his own special style, and exciting new release plans are already in the pipeline.”
