Beastie Boys Share Teaser For Spike Jonze's New Documentary

Beastie Boys and Spike Jonze have shared a teaser for their upcoming documentary.
Beastie Boys Story was co-written by director Jonze with Michael "Mike D" Diamond and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz of the group. The film will debut on IMAX on April 3 before a global premiere exclusively via AppleTV+ on April 24.
The documentary captures footage from the live tour that Mike D and Ad-Rock embarked on in 2018, supporting the publication of Beastie Boys Book that same year, which paid tribute to Adam "MCA" Yauch, who died of cancer in 2012.
In addition to the film, Jonze will also release a Beastie Boys photo book, containing rare photographs from throughout their career. It hits shelves on March 17.
