Kate Tempest Posts New Version Holy Elixir

Tuesday, 28 January 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Kate Tempest has released a new song, Unholy Elixir.

The intense track is a new version of Holy Elixir, from the spoken word artist's third studio album, 'The Book Of Traps And Lessons', which arrived last summer. Of the track, Tempest said:

"This is Unholy Elixir. A new version of Holy Elixir, which you will have encountered on 'The Book Of Traps And Lessons'. After a year of touring, we discovered new things about the song and wanted to make a version that reflected those discoveries."

The new version was produced and mixed by Dan Carey and comes with a video by illustrator Natalya Lobanova. Take a look below.

Tempest has a busy few months ahead, mixing headline shows with festival appearances, including performances at London's Roundhouse as part of BBC 6 Music Festival, Splore Festival in New Zealand, and Deer Shed in North Yorkshire.
