The Fratellis Share New Track Six Days In June From Upcoming Album

The Fratellis have released Six Days In June from their upcoming album.
The big band number marks the first preview of the Glasgow band's sixth full-length, 'Half Drunk Under A Full Moon', which was recorded in Los Angeles with longtime collaborator Tony Hoffe. Vocalist Jon Fratelli said:
"On the last record we broadened our sound by trying out new ideas, all of which I think worked. With this album, the plan was to push those ideas even further.
"This time I started with threads from 'In Your Own Sweet Time', from the song Starcrossed Losers in particular, and spun out from there. Immediately, I heard melodies and knew where I was heading."
With the follow-up to 2018's 'In Your Own Sweet Time' scheduled to arrive on May 8 via Cooking Vinyl, the trio will head out for a UK tour between April 17 and May 2. Stops include Manchester, Cardiff, Newcastle, Liverpool, Glasgow, Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Hull and London, where they'll play the O2 Forum.
They also tour North America this summer. Tickets are on sale now.
