Mahalia Announces 'Isolation Tapes' EP

Tuesday, 28 April 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Mahalia has announced a new EP.

'Isolation Tapes' will arrive this Friday (May 1) and features three new tracks: BRB, Plastic Plants and Too Nice. It follows up her debut album, 'Love and Compromise', which came out in September 2019.

The Brit Award-nominated R&B star said:

“Since being at home, I’ve spent a lot of time writing new music and listening to old music. I found songs that I’d forgotten about, listened to them and fell in love with them all over again. In these uncertain times, when we have so little control over what is going to happen next, I think we have to focus on what we can control. Music is where I feel that most. And I’m so proud to be putting this EP out!”

Mahalia has a busy summer of festival appearances ahead, as long the coronavirus pandemic doesn't scupper her plans. It recently caused her to reschedule her spring London show at the O2 Academy Brixton to August 21 and Dublin date to August 26.

Mahalia Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Fri August 21 2020 - LONDON O2 Academy Brixton
Wed August 26 2020 - DUBLIN Vicar Street
