Will Young, Ella Henderson, The South, Shalamar, The Fizz Confirmed For South Tyneside Festival 2021

This year's South Tyneside Festival has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
The Sunday concert series will return to Bents Park in 2021, with Will Young (pictured), Shalamar and the Fizz, Ella Henderson and the South topping the bill. South Tyneside's mayor, Councillor Norman Dick said:
“The South Tyneside Festival is one of the best-loved events in the Borough’s events calendar. We know that, like us, people will be hugely disappointed that the Sunday Concerts are not going ahead this year. It is the right decision due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
“However, we are thrilled that the artists are on board for next year’s shows and we can now look forward to joining them next summer for a real celebration of music packed with chart-topping hits and cult classics.”
What? The four-week concerts series are part of a three-month family-friendly programme of entertainment on South Shields seafront.
Where? Bents Park, South Shields.
When? July 11 - August 1, 2021.
Who? Will Young, Ella Henderson, the South, Shalamar and the Fizz will top the bill, with further acts still to be confirmed.
Tickets? The concerts are free to attend but a limited number of priority tickets are available for £6. Tickets for 2020 are valid for the corresponding 2021 shows.
