Joe Bonamassa has announced his new solo album.

‘Royal Tea’ was recorded at Abbey Road and finds the guitarist taking inspiration fromJeff Beck, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Eric Clapton and Cream. It’s out on October 23 and you can stream his recent single Why Does It Take So Long To Say Goodbye below.

Bonamassa worked with long-time producer Kevin Shirley on the record, and wrote alongside former Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden, Cream lyricist Pete Brown and Jools Holland. “Writing this record in London has done its job,” he said. “It really does sound inherently British. Bernie and I, we finish each other’s sentences. We’re cut from the same cloth.”
