Courtney Barnett has announced a global livestream event.
The Australian singer-songwriter will perform a virtual concert of fan favourites and new material at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne on December 17. Tickets go on sale at 10pm GMT on November 26.
Billed as From Where I'm Standing, the performance will be broadcast around the world via Driift, with fans across multiple time zones able to choose their most convenient stream. It'll mark her first show with a full band since her Australian bushfire benefit gigs at the start of 2020.
The event's title originates from a line in Barnett's song City Looks Pretty, which features on her 2018 album 'Tell Me How You Really Feel'. Check out a trailer below.
Barnett will support Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds on their rescheduled UK and Ireland arena tour in spring 2021.
