The Offspring have shared details of their first album in nine years, 'Let The Bad Times Roll'.

The California band's long-awaited 10th studio record is due out on April 16 via Concord Records and marks their third time working in collaboration with legendary producer Bob Rock, who also worked on the quartet's 2012 LP 'Days Go By' and its 2008 predecessor 'Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace'.

Written and recorded over the last several years at various locations, including the band's Huntington Beach studio, the full-length's lead single and title track is a predictably frenetic, guitar-charged burst of pop-punk energy. It's the group's first original material since their 2015 single Coming For You.

Discussing the themes among its 12 songs, frontman Dexter Holland said: "I feel like we're in a unique period in history where instead of our world leaders saying 'we’re doing our best' it’s more like they’re saying 'fuck it' ;and it's really scary."

Guitarist Noodles added: "Folks are saying, if it’s all going to Hell, we might as well make the most out of it, or at least go out swinging. 'Let The Bad Times Roll!"
