Rammstein Postpone UK And European Tour Until Summer 2022, Cancel Belfast Date

Wednesday, 24 March 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Rammstein have postponed their UK and European tour for a second time.

After previously rescheduling the stadium performances from 2020 to 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the industrial metal giants have now pushed back the shows to summer 2022 due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

The rearranged itinerary now means the band will take over Coventry's Ricoh Arena on June 26 and Cardiff's Principality Stadium on June 30, as part of their European trek.

Original tickets will be honoured for the corresponding new dates. Unfortunately, their Belfast gig has been cancelled, with ticket holders advised to contact their point of purchase for a refund. A statement from Rammstein reads:

"Due to the expected ongoing event-bans and restrictions related to COVID-19, Rammstein are unfortunately forced to postpone the planned European Stadium Tour again.

"The band and everyone involved are very disappointed about this. Given the lack of planning reliability for holding events of this size, this step is unavoidable.

"The concerts are rescheduled to 2022. Unfortunately, some minor changes had to be made and the show in Belfast will be cancelled entirely. Tickets for Belfast will be refunded, all other tickets remain valid!

"The band is using the time off to continue working on new songs. We look forward to seeing you in 2022!"

Rammstein Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sun June 26 2022 - COVENTRY Ricoh Arena
Thu June 30 2022 - CARDIFF Principality Stadium
