Lady Gaga Shares Orville Peck Cover Born This Way (The Country Road Version)

Monday, 07 June 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Lady Gaga has unveiled Orville Peck's take on Born This Way.

Following Big Freedia's rework of Judas, the countrified reimagination is the latest cut from the 10th anniversary expanded edition of the pop superstar's 2011 second album 'Born This Way', due out on June 18.

'Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary' will feature the original tracklist along with six new versions of the record's songs by artists who are representative of the LGBTQIA+ community. Peck said:

"I am so honoured and excited to be a part of the iconic legacy of this song and album. Thank you Lady Gaga for asking me and Happy Pride y'all!!"

Lady Gaga put out her latest album, 'Chromatica', in 2020. She recently postponed her Chromatica Ball world tour for a second time until summer 2022 due to the continuing COVID-19 restrictions. No new dates have yet been announced.
