Everything Everything Digitally Release New Track Mercury And Me

Everything Everything have digitally dropped a new song.
Mercury And Me is the second track to be shared from the band's recent Record Store Day release. The emotive, piano-based ballad comes accompanied by a video from frontman Jonathan Higgs, who said:
"The video was made in 3D using motion capture, and was my first attempt at capturing a live performance and recreating it in software. I tried to make an atmosphere that reflected the starkness of the song."
The 10" vinyl also includes Supernormal, which landed in March, along with a Foals remix of Big Climb, and an IOE AIE revamp of Black Hyena.
The Manchester group released their fifth album, 'Re-Animator', in September 2020, which they'll support with a rescheduled UK and Ireland tour in spring 2022. They're also due to play Coventry's Kasbah this August, subject to coronavirus restrictions.
