Bill Bailey, Jason Manford, Milton Jones, Dara O'Briain To Headline Just The Tonic Comedy Shindig

Just The Tonic will present the Comedy Shindig this summer.
Comprising outside and undercover stand-up comedy shows, featuring some of the best comedians in the UK, the series' headliners include Bill Bailey, Jason Manford, Milton Jones, Dara Ó Briain, Ed Byrne, Laura Lexx and Reginald D Hunter. Just The Tonic founder Darrell Martin said:
"In August 2020, as a response to the restrictions on indoor events, Just the Tonic put on a series of outdoor events near Nottingham. These featured Jimmy Carr, Milton Jones, Russell Kane, Shappi Khorsandi to name a few. They were so popular that we decided to do more this summer. We also thought it would be a good idea to bolt onto some existing festivals and provide a day of outdoor comedy. No distractions from sound bleed from music stages. So, we hooked up with a few quality festivals.
"We decided that these were going to be festivals events, and that they needed a name. We have called them Just the Tonic's Comedy Shindig. From 300 capacity intimate events in covered outdoor spaces through to big 3000 capacity main stages on festival sites, Just the Tonic Comedy Shindigs will bring quality comedy to a field near you (with a bar, of course)…"
Jason Manford and Milton Jones will top the bill at Melbourne Hall in Derbyshire on July 15 and 16, respectively, with Dara Ó Briain headlining at Bonnytoun Farm, Linlithgow, on August 6. Bill Bailey, meanwhile, will appear at Party at the Park at South Inch in Perth on August 20, along with the inaugural Sign Of The Times in Hertfordshire two days later.
